Our accredited Facilitators are a very important part of our Parents Plus Community. Gaining Accreditation is a significant professional achievement which means that a practitioner has demonstrated advanced skills and capacity to deliver programmes in a quality and effective manner.
We are pleased to invite our fantastic team of accredited facilitators across all programmes to a special 90 minute, online Community of Practice session on Thursday November 20th at 11am.
“Staying Solution-Focused when Working with Parents”
The Solution-Focused Approach is a key foundation of practice for all the Parents
Plus courses – simple enough to understand in principle, but not always easy to do. A solution-focused approach empowers parents by focusing on their
strengths, what is already going well and what works for their family. It involves
shifting our attention away from the problem and towards a preferred future and
positive change.
This special Community of Practice session for accredited (and pre-accredited)
facilitators will be a welcome refresher, top-up and upgrade. It will be delivered by
Parents Plus Senior trainer Fred Ehresmann, who will also provide some helpful
resources to those who can attend.
There is no cost to attend but you must register by sending an email to Karin Todd at karin@parentsplus.ie.
We look forward to seeing you there!
